Don’t Judge a Company by its Cover

The construction crew clearly did a great job. Everything looks exactly like the blueprints and the conception drawings.

But I certainly did not have this much confidence in them when they rolled up to the parking lot for the first time to start the remodel. I had dabbled in construction in the past and I knew when they were using inferior products.

Take their concrete grinders for example – theirs must have been taken from the 80’s. It seemed as though it was in some state of disrepair and I was surprised it worked at all, regardless of its quality.
In addition, they brought with them concrete mixers that looked as though they were about to fall to the floor with grime and concrete remnants. Not exactly a good start to this huge project.

Luckily, it looked as if they knew it too, as apparently they had gone to iShop Concrete and upgraded their materials. That took a lot of the stress of my back, knowing that they were going to use the right products for the job. I wasn’t paying them to make mistakes; I was paying them to get the job done right. I’m glad they realized that after all.
